Back in 1982 when the New Age movement was starting to gain some traction

Rev. Betty attended a conference in Bombay organized by Stanislaus Grof and

Swami Muktananda.

Rev. Betty gives us the back story of this conference.  She said it wasn't about

all the intellectual minds that were giving their lectures.  It was about the people

who didn't have the spot light.. She tells of Mother Theresa walking into the room

She describes it as "You could just feel the spirit." Mother Theresa needed not to

say a thing.

Rev. Betty was also invited to attend a healing session by a woman

 who is not a presenter at the conference. This woman was brought in by Stanislaus Grof

from Delhi.. Spirit makes Rev. Betty privy to this information.. Spirit tells her

that this woman is a real healer.  Her name is Shree Chakravarti.

She describes this woman as regal in a white saree, carrying

a plastic bucket for water.  She diagnoses with her hand, the hand stops at the disturbance

and then spirit tells what it is.  

She places her hand in the bucket and breathes through her right nostril and

flames shoot out of the bucket.  She heals these people by rubbing this electrified

water on them.  She even diagnoses a man who is due to have a triple bypass

in the States, as a pinched nerve. He walks away from the session after being

Rev. Betty asks her who is behind her doing the healing? What is revealed

is that the indian Saint Shirdi Sai Baba works through her.

Rev Betty talks about Dr. Robert Ireland who founded a

Dr. Carlos Blair

little church in Tucson called the Y-Our Spiritual Center

Spiritualist church.. Worked as staff at Camp

Chesterfield as a phenomena medium. Giving blindfold billets

and channeling a wonderful and practical Dr./Teacher named 

Dr. Carlos Blair.

Rev. Betty mentions that Spirit says she likes the Razzle Dazzle

demonstrations of Spirit.  I tend to agree, in order to make
believers of people, you need to shake their foundations a little
with demonstrations.

The first razzle dazzler was Elijah of the Old Testament
with the challenge to Baal.
